Creating Tasks

Prefer to create issues in Github. The DeWork <> Github Integration will automatically mirror those issues into DeWork as tasks.

Auto-link Github branches to DeWork tasks

Prefer to auto-link Github PRs to the associated DeWork tasks. This way changes to the PR (review requested, merge status) are automatically reflected in the DeWork task.


  1. Create a fork of the repo in Github.

  2. On that fork, create a branch with the DeWork task identifier (Example: dw-115) in the branch name so that the resulting PR is auto-linked to the task.

  3. The DeWork identifier is the task number prefixed with dw- . It can be seen at the top of the DeWork task.

Tiny: 1

Small: 2

Medium: 3

Large: 5

X-Large: 8
